A female Baule sculpture, Ivory Coast, placed on an oval base, her waist is wrapped up in a red coverup, short arms, the two hands are touching her waist, her strong, slender torso is mounted by a thick ringed neck who carries a large rounded head, the features of the face are calm, relaxed, an opened mouth, rounded jaw, half closed eyes, the hairdo is pulled back in a stylish manner; the face, front and back of the body are covered with scarifications, sign of beauty and status in Baule culture; some wear throughout the sculpture, sign of use. Some opened slits on the left foot, middle of the torso and face can be noticed.
